John is a 25+ year veteran of the security card and reader industry with expertise in technology licensing, building successful partnerships, product management, manufacturing, marketing and sales. While working with HID® Corporation, John held many positions including Director of Technology Integration, building global partnerships for 13.56mHz contactless technologies and Proximity technologies. After departing HID, John was founding Chairman, CEO and President of XceedID® Corporation, building the company into a highly successful card and reader company, including a comprehensive technology partnership with GE Security for the GE Transition Series Readers, and LENEL for the LENEL OpenCard Readers. John eventually led the successful sale of XceedID to Ingersoll-Rand, now Allegion® and sold under the SCHLAGE® and AptiQ® brands.

With a desire for further innovation, and to build another world class global card and reader business with industry leading delivery methods, John co-founded 3millID® Corporation. Soon after forming 3millID, John worked with UTC Fire&Security and LenelS2, to form a technology partnership with 3millID for the BlueDiamond family of multi-technology OSDP readers. In 2024, Honeywell purchased LenelS2 from Carrier and Honeywell ultimately launched their own version of the BlueDiamond product line. 3millID Continues to support the ongoing Honeywell LenelS2 BlueDiamond NFC Mobile technology partnership.

John holds a B.S in Building Construction from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

To further accelerate growth, John led the sale of 3millID Corporation to ASSA Abloy via HID Global, culminating in January 2025. 3millID continues to operate as an independent company with the backing of the ASSA Abloy Group.

Erik is a seasoned Sales executive having held sales leadership and operational management positions for over 25 years. As a successful sales leader, Erik generated high growth rates for both XceedID and Ingersoll-Rand access card and reader businesses. After several years with XceedID, Erik joined Identiv and led another successful effort at building card and reader sales channels throughout North America. Later, Erik co-founded 3millID Corporation. Erik holds the position of Vice President, leading sales and partnership activity for the company. He is widely known as a truly passionate expert and industry leader in customer service and sales support and for implementing efficient production systems utilizing his high level of expertise in ERP software and systems management.  Erik thoroughly enjoys customer relationship development and continuously building long term successful partnerships for 3millID. Erik holds a B.A. from Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Peter Jones is a true access control pioneer. Abandoning a promising career at Intel Corporation, where he won the coveted Rookie of the Year Award in 1985, he founded Codepoint where he led the development of one of the first PC-based access control systems to reach market. Codepoint was acquired in 1991 and frustrated by the constraints of his corporate position, Peter returned to his engineering roots and started UK based Third Millennium in 1996. Peter has a long-established, 20+ year track record in supplying best-of-breed RFID reader and card solutions into government departments and large corporations. Peter holds an MBA and an MSc in Cybersecurity from Cardiff University. He is also a Chartered Security Professional and a Director and Fellow of the Security Institute, the UK’s largest membership body for security professionals.

Since joining the 3millID team in 2016, Colton has led the charge for customer growth, developing security integration partnerships, and expanding 3millID’s brand coast to coast. While possessing product and technical expertise, Colton spearheaded the Mobile Credentialing platform alongside LenelS2 and the expansion of BlueDiamond to further 3millID’s reputation for being on the cutting edge of continual development in the DESFire credential and reader technology space. Colton’s passion for building lifetime customer relationships, large and small, and delivering the most secure solutions for 3millID customers, have made him a critical part of 3millID’s sales growth. Having attended the University of South Carolina and the University of Colorado-Boulder, Colton holds a B.S. in Finance from the Leeds School of Business.
